It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, what with all the Angels and Archangels bringing their games to town.
Anchorage turns into hoops heaven during the holidays, a time when high school teams from all over Alaska – from the Bristol Bay Angels to the Lumen Christi Archangels -- suit up for some early season basketball.
Right now, tournaments at Service High, Grace Christian and Lumen Christi feature 30 teams from 15 communities ranging from Kodiak to Aniak, from Healy to Homer, from Sitka to Nome.
