Colton Lauwers pitched all five innings, struck out nine batters and went 3-for-3 at the plate with three runs scored and three RBIs to lead Dimond Post 21's rout of Bartlett Post 29 Sunday afternoon at Chad Bax Field.
Dimond's Matt Pritchard also was perfect in three at-bats with a single, double and a triple. He drove in two runs and scored twice.
East 20, South 18
East Post 34 won a high-scoring, back-and-forth at Chad Bax Field thanks in part to 23 hits including five triples and six errors by South Post 4.
East's Alex Anderson went 4 of 5 and reached base on a walk and error while driving in four runs. Teammate Jared Tuck added a three hits including a triple and finished with four RBIs.
Hayden Karnos led South with three triples and drove in two runs, while Eric Berglund chipped in four RBI in the losing effort.
