Two more Alaskans cash

Two Anchorage women recently cashed in at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas in the women's No Limit Hold 'em event. Kima Kimura finished 19th in a field of 1,054 players to earn $5,805 in an event that required a $1,000 buy-in, or entry fee.

Lisa Vukasin finished 88th and collected $2,124.

At least seven players from Alaska have cashed in tournaments at the World Series of Poker, the game's most prestigious tournament. The WSOP lasts nearly two months and features 57 different tournaments.
