Volleyball roundup: 4 sweeps in Tuesday volleyball action

Dimond 3, Bartlett 1

Alissa Pili and Brynn Sulte tallied 14 kills apiece to boost Dimond past Bartlett 25-19, 18-25, 25-15, 25-18 in a Tuesday Cook Inlet Conference volleyball match at Dimond.

Pili also recorded 17 digs and Sulte had four blocks.

Maya Carle (26 digs) and Teuila Lolotai (32 assists) contributed defensively for the Lynx.

Bartlett was led by Paia Togagae's 15 kills, 12 digs and five aces.

East 3, Service 0

East defeated Service in three sets 25-12, 25-14, 25-23 Tuesday at East.

Celeste Filoialii buried seven kills and Leona Tau'ese provided 13 digs for the Thunderbirds.

Service got a boost from Autumn Monkelien's five digs and two aces.

Karisa Davis added six kills.

West 3, Chugiak 0

West breezed by Chugiak 25-13, 25-23, 25-19 in a Tuesday CIC volleyball showdown at West.

Kaitlin Hampton and Brooke Dexter led the Eagles offensively with 11 kills each.

Hampton and Jackie Suka led the Eagles defensively with 16 digs apiece.

Grace Christian 3, Redington 0

Grace Christian swept Redington in its volleyball opener 25-13, 25-2, 25-10 Tuesday at Grace Christian.

Annie VanderWeide hammered 16 aces for the Grizzlies.

Kaitlin Cowell (8 aces) and Grace Salima (5 kills) also contributed.

South 3, Eagle River 0

South swept Eagle River in three sets 25-8, 25-10, 25-18 in a Tuesday volleyball match at South.

The Wolverines received a spark from Sarina Mancari (8 digs), Madi Colbern (7 kills, 2 blocks) and Zoey Keene (9 assists, 4 kills) to grab the CIC victory.
