Prospective marijuana business owner Joshua Tobin is turning a two-story tractor-trailer garage in South Anchorage into a pot-growing facility, and hopes to begin selling his product to retailers in the fall.
Tobin says he doesn't have a lot of money to invest, so he's had to find creative ways to maximize space and profit. Fortunately for Tobin, his construction background helps.
He expects to get his grow license from the state in early June. At that point, he would begin growing -- and he'll have to stop smoking weed on the premises.
Until then, he partakes.
