Freelance photographer Leif Ramos frequents Turnagain Arm every chance he gets when the weather is right, even if paddle boarding in winter is often a solo endeavor.
"I think it's growing in popularity, but I still I find myself alone a lot, especially in November, December, January and February," says Ramos.
