Brady Campaign: Alaska, a 'do nothing' gun violence state

Well, the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence has issued its 2010 state scorecards, and Alaska finds itself tied with Arizona and Utah for having the "least sensible" gun laws in the nation. Out of 100 points possible, the three states earned zeroes. Alaska almost got two points for not forcing colleges to allow guns on campus, but those two points got taken away because the state does not require a permitting process to carry a concealed firearm (a statute known as "Alaska carry," or, in an Iowa Legislature hot-mic episode, the "give-a-handgun-to-a-schizophrenic" law.
