About 400 University of Alaska Anchorage graduates participated in the fall Class of 2016 commencement ceremony Sunday, Dec. 18, in the Alaska Airlines Center.

While 400 attended the ceremony, the event recognized nearly 1,100 students who earned undergraduate and advanced degrees at the end of 2016. A graduate degree hooding ceremony was held Saturday for those receiving master's and doctoral degrees.
