Two canoeists drown in Kenai Peninsula river, troopers say

Two Kasilof men who went canoeing in the Kasilof River on Sunday afternoon drowned, Alaska State Troopers say.

Harold Andrew Crossett, 57, and Reuben Arthur Kimball, 64, were found in the western Kenai Peninsula river about a mile from its mouth, troopers said. Neither was wearing a life jacket.
