A 72-year-old man died after a crash Saturday on the Old Glenn Highway, Alaska State Troopers said.
Troopers were called to a head-on collision near Old Glenn Highway and Leeside Drive in Palmer just after 3 p.m. troopers wrote in an online statement. The vehicles caught fire, troopers said.
In total, four vehicles became involved in the crash and troopers said “numerous people were injured.”
On Sunday, troopers were notified that Eugene Watson, of Palmer, died following the crash, the statement said.
The investigation is ongoing and is being handled by the Bureau of Highway Patrol, troopers said.
