A Homer man was killed in a single-car crash overnight Saturday, according to Alaska State Troopers.
Troopers said they responded to a report of a crash near Mile 10 of East End Road around 12:38 a.m. Saturday. They found 60-year-old Charles Moore, the car’s only occupant, dead at the scene, troopers said in an online report, which noted that the vehicle was traveling outbound from Homer at the time.
Moore appeared not to have been wearing a seatbelt, troopers said. Next of kin have been notified, and troopers are investigating the circumstances.
