A cyclist was seriously injured Thursday night in a collision with an SUV in East Anchorage, police said.
The cyclist was southbound in a crosswalk on Bragaw Street just after 6 p.m. when a Chevrolet Suburban eastbound on DeBarr Road struck him, police said. The SUV had a green light when it passed through the intersection, they said.
The cyclist was taken to a hospital with what police described as life-threatening injuries.
The driver stayed on scene, and police said no arrests were made Thursday night.
