Four family members held on federal drug charges

Four relatives have been indicted on federal drug conspiracy and cocaine distribution charges, according to the U.S. attorney. Anchorage residents Dwayne Dollison Sr., 47, Dwayne Dollison Jr., 27, Kenneth Martin Douglas, 25, and Dahmir Hale, 22, are accused in the nine-count indictment of conspiring to distribute more than 50 grams of crack cocaine and more than 500 grams of cocaine powder in Anchorage from February to September, according to prosecutors.

Prosecutors say Dwayne Dollison Jr. is the son of Dwayne Dollison Sr. and the half-brother of both Hale and Douglas.

According to the indictment, each of the four men individually sold crack or cocaine, though Dollison Jr. provided cocaine for resale to the other members of the conspiracy, who often sold the cocaine in teams of two.

In one case, Dollison Jr. and Douglas sold more than 20 ounces of cocaine to different customers in a single day, the indictment alleges. On another occasion, Dollison Jr. and Hale sold more than 50 grams of crack cocaine to a single customer, it says.

The men are facing a minimum of 10 years in prison and a maximum penalty of life if convicted.

The Dollisons are in federal custody pending trial. Hale and Douglas are in state custody.
