APD: Man shot and killed during fight in South Anchorage

A man was shot and killed during a fight Sunday night at 68th Avenue and Lake Otis Parkway, according to police.

The victim has been identified as Joshua Statham, 26.

Police arrived at the scene just before 11 p.m. Statham was taken to a hospital by ambulance and later died, police said Monday.

Police said they consider the incident a homicide but not a random encounter. They released no suspect information.
