East High freshman pitcher Daisy Page silenced two opponents Monday, throwing a two-hitter in a 14-1 romp over Service and allowing one in a 13-0 shutout of Dimond in Cook Inlet Conference softball action at Albrecht Fields.
In the win over Service, Page got support from her sister, senior Taria Page, who belted a two-run homer to help the T-birds stake a 7-1 lead in the first inning. Service's Kamryn Frisk hit a solo shot that inning to account for her team's lone run.
In the win over Dimond, Daisy Page struck out six and drove in three runs with a pair of hits. Morgan Hill added three RBIs and three hits, and Sierra Rosenzweig chipped in two hits.
Both games were halted after four innings by the mercy rule.
