Blues Traveler cancels concert at 2023 Alaska State Fair

Grammy Award-winning band Blues Traveler has canceled its concert scheduled for Thursday at the 2023 Alaska State Fair, the fair announced Monday.

The band cited an illness in its touring party as the reason for the cancellation. The fair announced classic rockers Foghat will perform on Thursday night in the 7 p.m. slot vacated by Blues Traveler.

The fair announced two options for Blues Traveler ticketholders. The first is to exchange their tickets for one of the other performances at the 2023 Fair (with refund or payment of any cost difference). The second is a full refund for the tickets, including fees.

Ticketholders should contact the fair by 5 p.m. Wednesday at info@alaskastatefair.org or 907-745-4827 to exchange their tickets. Ticketholders who do not contact the fair for an exchange will automatically get their credit cards refunded for the purchase.

Tickets for Foghat are on sale now on the fair website.

Other performers scheduled for the the 2023 AT&T Concert Series include Flogging Molly, Nate Bargatze, Home Free, Yung Gravy, J Boog, The String Cheese Incident, Little River Band and Noah Cyrus.
