Scott Gomez tops 100 career Stanley Cup playoff points

Veteran NHL center Scott Gomez of Anchorage on Thursday night surpassed another career milestone.

Gomez, 33, furnished the San Jose Sharks two assists in a 4-3 road loss to the Los Angeles Kings, and those helpers pushed him past 100 career point in Stanley Cup playoff games.

Gomez, a two-time Cup winner with the New Jersey Devils, in 144 career playoff games owns 29-72--101 totals.

That gives him more than 800 career points (802 to be exact) in 1,085 combined career regular-season and playoff games. In 941 regular-season games, Gomez has produced 171-530--701 totals.
