Letter: Prioritize Alaska

As a disabled veteran and resident of Alaska for 50 years, I want to express my disaffection with Sen. Dan Sullivan’s decision to not vote to overturn the diversion of military appropriations, meant to be spent on military projects in Alaska, to a useless-for-Alaska border wall on our southern border.

The badly needed financial boost to our economy will go elsewhere as a result. Sen. Sullivan should decide if he is our advocate or President Donald Trump’s. All active and former military members should consider his vote when we decide to cast ours for his re-election.
