I can’t wrap my head around the large number of evangelical right-wing religious leaders who chastised the editor of “Christianity Today” for recommending the impeachment of President Donald J. Trump. Don’t they know that his replacement, Vice President Mike Pence, is a committed Republican, a definite Conservative, a credentialed Christian and a winner in the state of Indiana, who also appears to be an upright moral gentleman? Are they more afraid of retribution from Mr. Trump than the judgment of almighty God?
