Having first arrived in Anchorage in 1967, I am enjoying David Reamer’s recent articles of its past, especially Monday’s piece on Mahala Ashley Dickerson. Sometimes I felt as if she was never taken as seriously as she should have been by some in the legal community. We were proud to recognize her as the Honorary Chair of the YWCA/BP Women of Achievement Awards event in 2003.
