Letters to the Editor

Letter: Who makes America great?

So our Alaska Attorney General Kevin Clarkson has a Colombian wife with a Colombian stepson. They are not able to get into the United States. Mr. Clarkson is now writing President Donald Trump asking for help, with a cover letter from our esteemed Gov. Mike Dunleavy. He is asking our “genius” president, the one who is trying to build the multi-billion dollar border wall to keep the “criminal” immigrants out, the person who stopped his Colombian family from entry into the U.S. in the first place, for help. The very same president whose own wife is an immigrant.

My parents were immigrants. My wife is an immigrant. Any number of wonderful, productive individuals helping America to be great are immigrants. Is there more than a little hypocrisy here?
