Letter: Laws don’t matter

Senate Republicans have voted to make President Donald Trump a king. He can now say and do whatever he wants to, include soliciting foreign governments to investigate political opponents, and can use his personal lawyer to do it. He can obstruct justice when called out on it. House and Senate Republicans are all for it and now all on board.

I expected as much from Sen. Dan Sullivan, because he is clearly afraid of Trump based on his voting record and is no doubt spineless. Sen. Lisa Murkowski has now joined that club, regardless of how she tries to spin it. Congratulations, America: the truth no longer matters and facts do not apply.
