Letter: Justice for all?

President Donald Trump once said he could shoot someone on New York City’s Fifth Avenue and get away with it. Everyone scoffed and chuckled.

Now, it seems that he can, and all of his crooked friends may as well.

We are courting danger. Wake up. He will never learn his lesson. We must learn the lessons of the past. If autocrats are allowed to trample our rules and laws, where will we be? Not in a democracy.
