Letter: Voting with toilet paper rolls

On my most recent trip to the grocery store, I could not help but notice there had been a run on toilet paper, leaving the shelves all but empty. I doubt if any of those engaged in panic buying saw themselves involved in a political act.

Nevertheless, stockpiling toilet paper is the perfect allegory for the faith Americans have in the Trump administration’s ability to competently respond to the coronavirus, whether they realize it or not.
