Now is the time to implement statewide voting by mail. Anchorage has shown it works. Oregon has done it successfully for years. We have six months to make it happen, assuming our elected leaders will get on board.
If the federal government can mail checks and census forms to us, surely election ballots can be delivered by mail. For the safety, accessibility and security of our elections, let’s vote by mail in November.
