Letter: No mail-in voting

Stay strong, Alaska. Just a few thoughts: No to mail-in ballots. Didn't we just go through a fiasco with Rep. Gabrielle LeDoux receiving a lot of votes from a trailer in Muldoon? How easy and quickly we forget. Imagine the shenanigans in a national election.

Not sure how this plays out. Perhaps you could vote in person over three days. Voting is the most sacred freedom we have. Let's protect it. No mail-in voting.

The last thing I would like to add: Reading the paper this morning made me ask, why are the police cleaning up the homeless sites? We have city workers and I'm sure many criminals who would love to help and get out of jail to work a few days. Let the cops do police work, not sanitary clean up. Be safe, everyone.
