Letters to the Editor

Letter: Alaska and China

The readers of ADN are often quoting the magazine The Economist in their letters. It is no surprise, as this magazine is one of the leading international public magazines, if not the leading one. However, one can safely assume that they are doing so when they like what this magazine is saying. But what if they don't?

Here is an example. The Economist magazine, in its May 2 issue on page 33, speaking about COVID-19, writes: "Alaska has a far higher rate of infection per person than China".

Any comments? After all, unlike China, we do not censor unpleasant information.
