Letter: Lack of representation

I am a long-term resident of Alaska. As a voter, I am absolutely distressed over the lack of representation by our elected officials in Washington, D.C., in view of the multiple threats to our Constitution and our very republic.

What will it take to have our senators and representatives get some backbone and stand up for their constituents against the President and his corrupt and ill-prepared administration? They hide from journalists with lame excuses when asked what they think. Some of them must disagree with the hateful rhetoric and policies. Their job is to speak out!
