Letter: Bridging the divide

In response to Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s recent comments, President Donald Trump threatened to campaign for anyone running against her in two years. The tweet said the candidate can be “good or bad, I don’t care” and “If you have a pulse, I’m with you."

Not that we didn’t know it already, but President Trump has now clearly stated that he prioritizes loyalty to him over what’s best for our country. For some comic relief in the tweet, Trump added that he gave Alaska “major highways.” I guess that means instead of getting a bridge to nowhere, we now have roads to everywhere.
