Letter: Thanks, community patrol

With so much going on in the news today, we often forget the people who have served Anchorage for many years. This year is the 25th anniversary of the Nunaka Valley Community Patrol. This group of volunteers have made our neighborhood a safer place by patrolling over all these years.

They have gone above and beyond and have gotten to know the new neighbors and make them feel welcome and safe in their homes. This is exactly what a group of volunteer dedicated individuals hope to achieve. I for one want to thank and recognize these men and women who make Anchorage and Nunaka Valley a wonderful place to live. Thank you!
