Letters to the Editor

Letter: Fix the obvious first

If it wasn’t plain as day to most before the election, it should be now. Right after President Joe Biden’s inauguration, step one for everyone “concerned” in the U.S. Congress should be: advance legislation to standardize voting procedures and tabulation in future federal/presidential elections.

I’m positive there is supermajority consensus on this one issue, perhaps as high as 90%. But I’m not as optimistic about the holdovers from the Trump-Republican party to advance this most conservative thing.

Rest in political peace, Donald J. Trump, and please take with you all of Roy Cohn’s friends.
