Letter: Dereliction of duty

The president is refusing to accept the results of the election, and probably just biding his time to see how many state legislatures he needs to convince to submit a separate slate of electors in December. His actions this week show he is trying to load the military with those who will bend to his will.

People will die as a result of the president’s actions. This means that Republican leaders who do not condemn this course of action, both publicly and privately, will have blood on their hands. And this includes Sen. Dan Sullivan. History will judge, but right now we are begging Sen. Sullivan to honor his oaths of office — both military and civilian.
