As he has throughout his life, President Donald Trump has never seen a rule that he did not want to break. He says that the election was rigged. What he really believes is that the Constitution is rigged.
Democracy is not a destination, it is a journey. We must re-affirm our rights and obligations to others – as embodied in the Constitution – every day as we strive to create a more perfect union. Without these norms, our form of self-governance will cease to exist.
