Letter: Don’t prioritize fish workers for vaccines

I would like to comment on the potential for seafood workers to get COVID-19 vaccines as a priority group. This is outrageous, especially when a majority of the workers are from out of state.

Are we really going to deny people who really need this who are also residents of Alaska?

Gov. Mike Dunleavy should make sure this group, who are not essential workers except to seafood corporations, does not get priority. We all love our Alaska seafood, but this request is ridiculous when real essential personnel, health care workers and elderly are the obvious choice.
