I am an ancient retired educator who wonders if this is the opportune moment to recalibrate our education clock. Perhaps in the jumble of COVID-19 experiences, we should or could plan to offer learning opportunities to our youth year-round.
Why not take this time to recalibrate the yearly calendar away from the agrarian limits of decades ago and give our kids learning-rich times yearlong? Education matters even more now. Let’s revitalize our approach.
