Letter: Careless actions

On the several occasions I witnessed the proceedings of the Anchorage Assembly over the past year, I was taken with the fact Jamie Allard repeatedly appeared to be the person in the room not wearing a mask. This, to me, indicated she cared not for science and for the welfare of her fellow Assemblymembers.

Given that, it seems unsurprising she might not appreciate the significance to others of appearing to condone license plates advertising the Nazi regime responsible for the cruel extermination of millions of Jews.

She’s got a right to be that way, but is she appropriate for leadership in our democracy?
