Letter: Don’t garnish the PFD

The legislators take our Permanent Fund dividend without our consent. The people should vote: garnishment or no garnishment. The legislators talk about the homeless, and then they turn around and garnish the homeless people’s PFDs. I wish the people could vote on the PFD, to garnish or not to garnish.

This state needs rent-to-own housing. Legislators need to work on rent-to-own housing; maybe the homeless could get a good rent-to-own apartment.
