Letter: Emergency declaration

Fed up yet? I am. Alaska is now one of only two states to not have an emergency declaration for COVID-19. Proud of that? I’m not.

Legislators were in Juneau for 23 days before the House could pick a leader. At a cost of approximately $54,000 and approximately $278 per day in per-diem allocations, there should have been a quorum on Feb. 12 to try to have a plan, since the governor doesn’t see it as his obligation.
