Letters to the Editor

Letter: Keep wearing your masks, please

As a small business owner, my family’s health and well-being is crucial to our business’ survival during this time. With that being said, I would like to kindly remind my neighbors that the recent expiration of our state’s emergency declaration does not mean our city health mandates cease to exist. Dining capacity limitations and mask wearing are still required.

In the past week I have noticed an increase in customers (and not to mention some owners/employees as well) no longer wearing masks. So, I must ask: Do people think Anchorage’s emergency orders also expired?

Please, for all of the small businesses everyone seemingly loves so much, help us remain healthy and sane! Please continue to wear your face masks. We thank you.
