Kudos to the Nordic Ski Association Anchorage and the municipal Parks and Recreation department for grooming the trails this winter for cross-country skiing. The trails are in excellent shape and I’ve been enjoying skiing on them every other day, whether at Kincaid, Hillside Park, the Coastal Trail or the Chester Creek Trail.
It helps that we’ve received significant snowfall this season, but I’m continually impressed with the quality of the track grooming. I urge everyone to quit complaining about COVID-19 restrictions and to get out on the trails and enjoy our wonderful outdoors without having to leave town!
