Letters to the Editor

Poem: Early Alaska Spring

Tiny hard alder cones are still pinch tipped,

Spruce branches yet fresh snow clotted,

But willows know spring quickening -

Catkins slip grey furred on tippy top

Sun graced wands.

March madness indeed.
