I am thankful to live in a community supported by Providence Health Systems. The staff at Providence are heroes and should be celebrated. Every day during this pandemic, they put themselves at personal risk by caring for hundreds of COVID-19 patients. Their efforts are worthy of our gratitude, admiration and support.
As a community, let us support the nursing staff at Providence Alaska Medical Center in their efforts to negotiate a fair and equitable union contract.
