I just opened to Sunday’s sports page and saw two action photos of the Eagle River-Service soccer match held on Saturday. Since both photo captions identified Eagle River players, I assumed that Service had lost. As a Service soccer grandparent, I was saddened.
Glad I read on. It seems that Service had won the match 4-0. I wondered why there were no action shots of the victorious Service goalkeeper who had a clean sheet or the victorious Service strikers.
