Letter: Destructive liberty

One of the earliest signs of a thriving civilization is the existence of sanctions and penalties for harming or killing others. In our current civilization, one may harm or kill others, without consequences, by not wearing a mask when advised to, and not getting vaccinated. This may be a sign of liberty, but when liberty is exercised in this manner, it is a greater sign of the regression and self-destruction of the civilization.
