Americans are so selfish now. So self-centered, where there is no respect for others as far as masking up indoors or getting vaccinated.
This recent wave of COVID-19 should never have happened. We are taxing our first responders and health care professionals by not getting vaccinated! Hospital beds are nearly maxed out in many parts of our nation, by people who refuse to get vaccinated.
Hundreds of Alaskans are contracting COVID-19, with four deaths on Aug. 18. All unnecessary! This delta variant is serious, and deadly.
Soon, businesses will shut down across the nation due to the recent wave in the pandemic, caused by people who refuse to get vaccinated. If you’re unvaccinated, you only have yourself to blame when businesses go out of business, or their staff is being laid off, etc.
People just need to follow medical science and stop listening or reading these mis-truths, lies and misinformation being spewed by some of the right-wing media. This is not political. This is the worst health issue in our lifetimes, and we are failing as a nation.
This nation would not have to apply mask and vaccination mandates if the un-vaccinated would just get vaccinated. Stop demonstrating and protesting, and just roll up your sleeves and get vaccinated.
Just then, possibly before winter sets in, we just might return to some sense of normalcy.
