Please allow me to thank the municipal street maintence crews for their work. There was a letter recently complaining about plows working on Saturday and backing up and then going forward.
The plows were just now working on my street and yes, the second plow did stop and back up and take another run to make it easier to drop the gate and not plow large berms into our driveways. Very much appreciated!
I suspect if the former letter writer had asked, she’d have found that street maintenance has regularly scheduled shifts outside of the 9-to-5 work week. Regardless, thank you to all of the folks who work hard to keep our streets clear in winter!
