Congratulations to our newly confirmed U.S. ambassador to Luxembourg, who leaves behind his role as mayor of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
As parting advice to the next mayor, Ambassador Tom Barrett said: “It is really, really important to remember that you are the mayor of the entire city and all the people who reside in this city, no matter where you live, no matter what their race is, no matter what their voting statuses are and whatever their religion is.”
Sounds like great advice for our Anchorage mayor as we look ahead to a less divisive 2022.
