Letter: Take a stand on Eastman

The Alaska House majority should take the vote to expel Rep. David Eastman if that’s what the Alaska Constitution calls for. As far back as I can remember, Eastman has always spoken forcefully and purposefully against any individual or group being afforded special treatment, recognition or consideration regardless of circumstances.

We deserve to know on which side of the Alaska Constitution each of our representatives stand. This vote could also be used to determine if Anchorage should ever allow an EaglExit. If our representatives think so little of the rules, regulations and procedures that bind us all, then it’s pretty obvious what they plan after a secession.
