Letter: Bronson needs to focus

I see that Mayor Dave Bronson wants to spend millions of dollars extending Bragaw Road. Why would he do that? His administration can’t seem to plow the ones we already have.

Instead, maybe focus on fixing the Girdwood fluoridation system? It’s been out of order for more than a year, and will be for another two, and he forgot to tell anybody?

And finally, his recent op-ed claims he represents 320,000 people.

First of all, where does he get that number? As of 2020, our official population count was 291,247, according to the Census Bureau — he could look it up! Has our city miraculously attracted almost 29,000 new residents since then? I don’t think so.

Secondly, whatever the correct population number is, he can subtract one from it. He definitely does not represent me. I voted against him last time and will eagerly do so again, should I encounter his name on another ballot.
