Letter: School bond failure

There are two reasons that the school bond appears to have failed. One, it was too expensive for a lot of voters. Two, the Inlet View fiasco. The cost of the new school was very expensive compared to renovating the current one and the location didn’t make sense. Many neighbors who opposed the project were not heard. The whole process was not transparent.

The school board needs to take a step back and analyze the design, location and cost, then submit a new plan which can be supported by the majority of the voters.
